Google Classroom

Hello! We are delighted that you are continuing your education at home on Google Classroom.

We have worked through a variety of issues which we have successfully resolved, so we are able to provide your children with high quality remote learning opportunities. The teachers will then be able to see what has been done and respond to any questions or queries. Please remember these may not be answered immediately as staff are now teaching every day in school. Children who are in school on a rota basis should log into Google Classroom when at home to complete their work and keep abreast of what is happening at school.

How do I get my username and password?

You need to send an email to: users@stwerburghs.derby.sch.uk with your child’s first name, surname, class and year group in the title i.e. Joe Bloggs Class 9 YEAR 3 You will then receive your user name and password by return of email.

Having problems?

Please check our trouble shooting guidance on the welcome letter (or try Googling in the first instance). If you have a personal gmail account you will need to sign out and then sign in using your school’s email address. You may need to change your internet security settings dependent upon how this is set up in your home. As users are accessing Google Classroom via a vast array of devices, we would ask that you are patient with us whilst pupils are logging on to the system for the very first time.

For your reference user names will follow the convention below:
