Voucher Schemes

The school collects all of the supermarket and cereal packet vouchers and tokens issued for schools.

Ones that we are or have recently been involved in include: Nestlé box tops, Morrisons Let's Grow, Flora Cooking with Schools, Sainsbury's Active Kids, Asda Go Green, and Tesco for Schools and Clubs .

Please send any tokens in to school via your child's book bag. Don't forget to tell them that they are there so that they remember to hand them in! You could also ask friends, relatives and neighbours to collect vouchers for us if they do not have a school of their own to support.

We will provide you with an update of the vouchers collected, and the benefits to the school, on a regular basis on this web site.

Nestlé Box Tops for Books

Box tops for books is an ongoing initiative from Nestlé offering a wide range of new books from Dorling Kindersley in exchange for tokens from the top of Nestlé cereal boxes.

It takes as little as 10 tokens to get one book, so the more tokens we collect the more books we can receive for our library. We can also exchange the tokens for cash (each is worth 10p to us).

If you would like more information on the scheme, please visit www.boxtops4books.co.uk.

Morrisons Let's Grow

Shoppers collect Morrisons Let's Grow reward vouchers from their local Morrisons store. One token was earned for every £10 spent instore. We will be redeeming these vouchers for free gardening equipment; everything from seeds and spades, to composting bins and planters.

Every voucher helps - no matter how few or how many, we can 'spend' them on gardening supplies - from 14 vouchers for pack of seeds, through 48 for a trowel, up to almost 5,000 for a greenhouse!

Flora Cooking with Schools

Just collect the tokens from specially marked tubs of Flora, and we can redeem them for cooking equipment for the school. Again, every token helps - we can buy a wooden spoon with just 3 tokens.

You can redeem the tokens online yourself, simply go the the Flora web site, enter the code from the greasproof liner and select St Werburghs from the schools list. Your token will then be added to our account. Click here to go to the Flora website redeem a token.

Alternatively, please bring the (clean!) tokens into school, and we will redeem them online.

Asda Go Green

In January 2008, Asda launched its second Go Green scheme which ran for 23 weeks. Vouchers were give out in store for reusing carrier bags rather than using new ones. The vouchers could then be redeemed for 'green' items.

We placed our order in the summer term and are expecting green goods, which include litter pickers, binoculars, microscopes and raised grow beds, to be delivered any day.
