A huge thank you to all those who attended the Parents’ Information Evenings earlier on this term. These evenings were designed to communicate key school and curriculum information. They also shared strategies for learning and contained vital updates on E-Safety, to help keep the children at St Werburgh’s safe online. The presentations shared on those evenings can be downloaded using the links at the bottom of this page.
Another successful Year 5/6 performance of Porridge was staged on 19th July. The children delivered two performances to full capacity audiences. The show was packed full of action, jokes and catchy songs all revolving around well known, nursery rhyme characters and a life of crime!
At the end of April, we ran a reading evening for parents of children in KS2. This was to show the changes in the curriculum and what children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are now expected to do. If you would like the slides from the evening please click here.
If you are a parent of a child in year 3 or 4, please click below for additional notes that were provided as a handout.
